This is where I begin my journey.  I'm writing from Pearson International Airport.  It's hard to believe that just 10 days ago I got my placement.  It feels like so much has happened since then.  After my last exam on Tuesday all I've been doing is running back and forth preparing, showing testament to the fact that it is possible to prepare for a 4 1/2 month trip in 4 1/2 days.  

And now I'm in the Airport, and it's finally hit me: I'm leaving! Tomorrow I will be drinking tea and trying to brush off carpet salesmen on the streets of Istanbul. 

Did I mention I got upgraded to business class? Perfect start =D. Now I get to drink champaign while learning Turkish and touching up on the English Grammar I'll be teaching in 2 days. I start work on Wednesday.

So I'm off then to Business Class. To Vienna and to Istanbul. To this incredible adventure that awaits me..
